This week I almost forgot my big boy’s school excursion. Plus, I misplaced the notice and had no idea what he was supposed to take with him.
Earlier this year I needed our Ambulance membership number. Hmmmm.
I forget stuff and misplace things all the time. I’ve tried lots of different apps and systems, but none have ever really fulfilled the desires of my heart.
Evernote, oh how I love thee!
Yes, I am singing the praises of an app, but for good reason. This neat little program can do so much. No matter what you do, it can help.
I’ll likely be talking about Evernote quite a bit on this blog; its time-saving abilities are endless, and as a busy mum, I rely on it a lot.
I use it as my virtual brain – to store information. Unlike my brain, though, it is searchable, reliable, and I can find just the right details when I need them.
Phone numbers, school notices, Christmas lists, colour schemes, blog ideas, holiday planning, receipts… everything goes into Evernote and Evernote creates order from my chaos.
To help you get started, I created an e-guide called ‘The Very Useful Guide to Getting Started With Evernote’. You get it for free when you sign up to get Techmummy newsletters. No spam. Just a little note from me every now and then.
Sign up, read your free e-guide, and get started with Evernote. I know you won’t be sorry – it’s a game changer!
